Background and Motivation:
“Getting Things Done” (GTD) is one of the most popular method of personal time management. Its main goal is to increase personal productivity by unloading all the tasks from the person's mind into an external system (GTD-system) and using a special procedure to control them. All the tasks and task-related information are initially placed into the inbox folder. Afterwards they are sorted into other folders according to the procedure. Although the GTD-method does not require any means of automatization, there is a plenty of applications for various platforms, which declare support for it. Goal
The project goal is to develop a simple vector scheme editor for mobile devices with touch screen. The main feature of our editor SketchIt is auto recognition of figures. This helps users to draw an accurate and neatly schemes quickly.
Description
Nowadays almost everybody, who have been involved in a team work, is familiar with the following problem. During a conference or a meeting there appears a necessity to draw a scheme or a graph. It might be a system architecture, device structure or a project schedule. It should be possible to draw such scheme very fast using mobile device, but the result should be accurate and neatly.

Конференция состоится 25 марта 2010 года в конференц-зале медицинского центра МГУ, Ломоносовский пр. 27, Москва (карта).
Конференция предназначена как для разработчиков программного обеспечения под Maemo, так и для рядовых пользователей. На конференции будут представлены доклады ведущих экспертов и разработчиков Maemo и руководителей крупнейших сайтов, посвящённых Maemo. Мы постараемся осветить все нюансы Maemo, от деталей разработки приложений до будущего Maemo.
Участие в конференции бесплатное, но необходима регистрация. Количество мест ограничено!

Вторая конференция Maemo: тренинг
Тренинг будет проходить при участии разработчиков Maemo из Nokia и представляет собой уникальную возможность получить знания и комментарии «из первых рук». Тренинг проводится на русском языке и нацелен на знакомство с инструментами и методами разработки приложений для платформы Maemo и предназначен для всех, кто интересуется разработкой приложений для мобильных устройств. Участие в тренинге бесплатное, но необходима регистрация.
Тренинг будет проходить в научно-исследовательском вычислительном центре МГУ имени М.В. Ломоносова, Ленинские горы, дом 1 строение 4 НИВЦ МГУ.
Тренинг начинается в 9:30; при необходимости помощи с установкой виртуальной машины рекомендуем подойти к 9:00.

Вторая российская конференция MAEMO: информация
Приглашаем вас принять участие во второй международной открытой конференции посвященной развитию Maemo, платформы с открытым кодом для мобильных устройств. Конференция проводится 25 марта 2010 года в городе Москва, МГУ имени М.В. Ломоносова.
Конференция будет предворяться тренингом по Maemo, который будет проходить 23-24 марта.

Testing framework for OpenSSL on Maemo/Meego
Introduction
Software platforms development is a difficult task, especially from quality point of view. Software platform includes many different components where all component can affect quality of platform overall. This problem becomes more important in case if manufacturer has more than one target device and need test applications/libraries on all target devices. This project is targeted to integrate and maintain new OpenSSL 1.0 library at MeeGo platform. OpenSSL library supports new important ciphers, for example wapi certification, which can extend countries where new devices can work.

Maemo Share Plugin for social network VKontakte
Description
Sharing-plugin-mysocials-vkontakte is a plugin for sharing manager. It adds new VKontakte field to Maemo sharing accounts. Plugin allows to send images to VKontakte social network via API.
It works similar to the Facebook sharing plugin.
Usage & Screenshots
After plugin installation user can add VKontakte account into Sharing accounts. The Setup requires login (e-mail or id) and password. If you don't have an account you can register using button "Register new account" on official site.
If you need to share an image press icon "Share" and then "Share via service" button. Then select registered account and press "Share" button. The image will be placed on "My Photo" album.
