FRUCT-info Extension of the 13th FRUCT conference papers submission deadline till March 8, 2013

Dear Colleagues, The 13th FRUCT conference submission deadline for papers and abstracts is extended till March 8, 2013. Please note that according to the CPCI (Web of Science) indexing rules all paper shall go via advanced review and for later submissions we might not have time for such review. In such case your paper will be published at “Work in Progress” part of the proceedings and will not be WoS indexed. So we strongly recommend to submit your papers ASAP. The 13th FRUCT conference will be held in Petrozavodsk, Russia on April 22-26, 2013. Don't forget to register to the conference and trainings via the web site. The registration form, conference news and more information about the event are available at the site <a href="http://www.fruct.org/conference13">http://www.fruct.org/conference13</a>. We would like to remind that call for demo proposals is open till April 5. All accepted demos will be presented at the special demo session co-located with the conference social event. Also we welcome all students and PhD students to take a part in the open contest of English language. Any student can take part in the contest by sending to us English essay of 3-5 pages and win diploma and compensation of the exam cost for TOELF or IELTS language certificate. Dear Friends, I would like to thank all members of FRUCT community for the great work and contribution to development of our movement in 2012! We have seen great progress in many fields, which resulted in a number of exciting and popular solutions. Especially great work has been done by FRUCT mHealth team, which won Skolkovo M.D. contest 2012, Russian Mobile VAS Award 2012 in the Mobile Services category and was a part of ENPI Karelia CBC grant winning team. The recent progress and achievements of FRUCT community provide good ground for our further growth in the next year. I’m looking forward for the new excitement and fruitful cooperation in 2013, and invite all community members to be even more active, contribute and get as much as you can to and out of FRUCT ecosystem! The new round of FRUCT activities is already well on track and we welcome you to submit papers to the following conferences: <ol> <li>13th FRUCT conference that will be held in Petrozavodsk (Russia) on April, 22-26 2013, <a href="http://www.fruct.org/conference13.">www.fruct.org/conference13.</a> The event program will consists of a number of educational and scientific sessions, presentations of ongoing FRUCT projects, status reports of the member university labs, technological trainings and lectures given by invited industrial and academic world-class experts in ICT. The conference is free of charge. All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings ISSN 2305-7254. Papers submission deadline is February 25, 2013. </li><li>6th conference on Internet of Things and Smart Spaces ruSMART 2013 that will be held in St.-Petersburg (Russia) on August 28-29, 2013 (<a href="http://rusmart.e-werest.org/2013.html">http://rusmart.e-werest.org/2013.html</a>). The conference proceedings will be published in Springer's LNCS and indexed by relevant databases. Authors of the selected best papers will be invited to submit extended versions of their papers to be published in a special issue of a journal Sensors (ISSN 1424-8220; CODEN: SENSC9) - Impact Factor: 1.771 (2010); 5-Year Impact Factor: 1.917 (2010). We have preliminary agreement with IEEE ComSoc that the 11th FRUCT conference will be technically sponsored by IEEE, which will allow to recommend best FRUCT papers for publication in Xplore.
