The European Connected Health Alliance delivers leadership for the development of Connected and MHealth markets and practice across Europe.The ECHAlliance and FRUCT work together at a strategic level to promote connected health initiatives.
Non-European applicants can receive a Category A Scholarship. You are considered a Non-European applicant if you come from a country other than a Member State of the European Union, or an EEA-EFTA State (Island, Norway, Liechtenstein). You must not be a resident of any of these countries and you must not have carried out your main activity (study, work, etc.) for more than a total of 12 months over the last five years in one of these countries. Otherwise you are considered a European applicant and you can receive a Category B scholarship. The discussions at the next summit of the European Union heads of state or government, which is scheduled for 22 and 23 November, will be decisive in determining the EU research budget for the next seven years. Several Member States are demanding severe cuts on the total EU budget and research will have to compete with other policy priorities.
Decisions will be prepared in discussions among politicians at the national level. An open letter signed by European Nobel laureates has been published in top European newspapers this week.
